2. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
2.1 Finsweet Cookie Consent (fs-consent*)
We use Finsweet’s Cookie Consent component to manage visitor consent. This component sets cookies with the prefix `fs-consent` to record your choices (e.g. which categories you have accepted or declined). These cookies do not collect any personal data or browsing history—only whether you’ve granted or withheld consent.
2.2 Cloudflare Rate-Limiting (_cfuvid)
Our site is hosted on Webflow, which in turn uses Cloudflare. When a Cloudflare Rate Limiting rule is active, Cloudflare may set the _cfuvid cookie for the duration of your browser session. Its sole purpose is to distinguish individual sessions for rate-limiting (e.g. to prevent abuse from many requests sharing one IP); it is not used for tracking across sessions or sites and does not identify you persistently.
3. Voluntary Data Collection
3.1 Newsletter Subscription
If you opt in to our newsletter, we collect only your email address. We use it exclusively to send you the newsletter you requested; you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter or write us an email.
3.2 Order Inquiries via WhatsApp
Since our e-shop functionality is not yet automated, orders are placed by contacting us on WhatsApp. To process your order, you may provide: Name, Postal address, Telephone number, Email address. We rely on you to communicate this data directly; we do not collect payment details on the website. Payments are handled off-site via Twint or by invoice.
4. Legal Basis (Swiss FADP)
Under Switzerland’s Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), we process personal data only where: You have given consent (e.g. cookies, newsletter), Processing is necessary to fulfill our contract with you (e.g. order handling). The FADP’s purpose is “protecting the personality and fundamental rights of natural persons whose personal data is processed”.
5. Use of Your Data
fs-consent* cookies: record consent choices for cookie categories.
_cfuvid cookie: enable Cloudflare rate-limiting within a session.
Newsletter email: send the newsletter you requested.
Order data: process your inquiry, confirm stock or payment, and issue invoices.
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing, profiling, or sell/rent it to any third party.
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Finsweet: stores only your consent status; we do not receive or share that data.
Cloudflare: processes `_cfuvid` under its Rate Limiting service; we do not see or combine it with other personal data.
Webflow: may log minimal technical information (e.g. IP address, browser type) strictly for hosting and security; we treat these as necessary cookies and do not associate them with your identity.
We do not share any newsletter or order information with other organizations.
7. Data Retention
fs-consent* cookies: persist until you clear them or withdraw consent; settings remain until changed.
_cfuvid cookie: expires at the end of your browser session.
Newsletter email list: retained until you unsubscribe.
Order records and invoices: retained for 10 years to satisfy Swiss tax and accounting laws.
After these periods, data is securely deleted.
8. Your Rights under the Swiss FADP
You have the right to: Access your personal data, Rectify inaccurate data, Delete data when processing is no longer justified, Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, Withdraw consent at any time (for cookies or newsletter).

9. Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards - such as HTTPS encryption, secure hosting, and access controls - to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. Significant changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers.
